Zebras at mealtime

With their characteristic black and white stripes, these zebras form an almost abstract pattern as they eat the hay together. The animals stand close together, causing their unique markings to appear to blend into one another. Although no two zebras have the same stripe pattern, together they form a harmonious whole. This photo shows not only the beauty of the animal but also the social nature of the herd.
