Photo description
Normally dominated by traffic, this street belongs to the pedestrians. Between the impressive facades of department stores and shops, people stroll at their leisure through the heart of Ginza. Striking are the visitors in traditional kimonos, who add a touch of Japanese history to the modern cityscape. The result is a typical Tokyo moment: a city constantly renewing itself without losing sight of its traditions.
