Moment of rest for a Lion

During the heat of the day, a young lion seeks coolness beneath the trees of the African bush. Stretched out on the ground, with a paw relaxed against the trunk, he seems oblivious to the world around him. Yet, his half-open eye betrays that he remains alert to everything happening around him. An intimate moment that reveals the quiet side of the life of Africa's king.
