Rusty giants of the steel industry

Three monumental storage tanks dominate the industrial landscape of the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. The cylindrical structures, crowned with characteristic domes and surrounded by walkways, were part of the complex production process of the former blast furnaces. The warm rust colors form a beautiful contrast with the green trees in the foreground and show how nature and industrial heritage come together in a unique way here.
