The National Museum of Qatar is one of Doha's most iconic buildings. The futuristic design, inspired by the desert rose, consists of dozens of interlocking discs that form a spectacular architectural whole. Surrounded by palm trees and subtle lighting, the museum comes into its own particularly beautifully at twilight.
