Pipes through time

Large steel pipes connect the various buildings of the former blast furnace complex in the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. Hot gases and other process flows were transported between the installations via this pipeline network, allowing steel production to continue uninterrupted. The rusty pipes, weathered valves, and characteristic brick factory buildings together form an atmospheric picture of the industrial past that has been preserved as heritage today.
