The pipeline network of the steel factory

Pipelines, steel structures, and an imposing storage tank together form a characteristic image of the former blast furnace complex in the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. This extensive network transported gases, steam, and other process flows between the various installations and kept steel production running day and night. Today, the robust pipes, brick buildings, and industrial structures have been preserved as valuable heritage, where the history of the German steel industry is still palpable.
