Gigantic drilling platform above the rooftops of Invergordon

An enormous offshore drilling platform rises high above the residential houses of Invergordon. The port town on the Cromarty Firth is a major hub for the offshore industry, where drilling platforms are maintained and prepared for new projects. This creates a distinctive streetscape in which traditional Scottish homes and modern industry literally exist side by side.
