A tangle of pipes and technology

A dense network of pipes, tubes, and steel structures reveals the technical complexity of the former blast furnace complex in the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord. Through this extensive system, gases, steam, and other raw materials were guided through the various installations to keep the production process running. The weathered paint, rusty surfaces, and varying pipe diameters give the photo an authentic industrial look and clearly demonstrate how ingenious the steel industry once was.
