Baboon in the Tree

High among the branches of a tree, a baboon sits quietly observing its surroundings. The soft morning or evening light accentuates the texture of its fur and the intense look in its eyes. Surrounded by leaves and branches, it forms a natural part of the African landscape. This photograph shows not only the intelligence of these primates but also the peaceful rhythm of life in the bush.
